Day 6 Moore River

Here is Ian relaxing wondering what he shouldn't do next.

Oh, he has made a decision not to be too busy. Coffee was the option with Christmas Cake of course.

We think we have time to have a swim with a noodle across to the sand bank & back. We saw a pod of 4 Pelicans on the sandbar.

And the sea is so close to breaking thru into the river.

A beautiful sunset at Moore River. Yes it is happy hour.

I’ve just caught up with your blog, and have started at the beginning. Haven’t caught up enough yet to know if the river broke through whilst you were there. We were there once when it did - it’s amazing to watch, a real torrent. Will keep reading now and see if you were lucky enough to see it.

Hi Chris & Paul,
We did not see the bar break this time. Although we have seen it before. Site 33 (or others) may be available to book for next year if you or any of our fellow campers are interested. It is on the front row and backs onto us. We are book annually from 7-12 Jan each year. If I intested phone 9577 1021 to enquire. Best to get in early.
