Road Trip to Moore River

After Deborah went for her Friday morning walk with the Heart Foundation Ladies we set off for our Road Trip to Moore River.
1st stop is at the Estuary Hideaway Caravan Park in Dawsville.

We headed along the Forrest Highway but we were caught short as the highway was closed just after we left Bunbury. Apparently there was a 2 person fatality earlier in the morning. We ended up being diverted through Harvey where we stopped by the roadside for a bite of lunch and a cold lemonade. We sadly have to report The Eureka Bakery in Harvey has ceased to exist. The owners have retired, sadly.

We arrived safely at The Hideaway Caravan Park in time for Happy Hour! We enjoyed a beer o'clock walk at sunset along the foreshore and through the park with Charles & Anne & Windsor.

Ian's off to cook tonight's dinner, Hamburgers & Eggs.
Cheers friends.

So happy when you finally made it to the caravan park.
Another great catchup. I'm sure there will be a few more before we head off to wherever the road takes us.
